These beautiful pompoms are handmade felted balls of eco-friendly 100% pure wool from New Zealand sheep.
These pompoms are Fair Trade Certified and the majority are handmade by artisans in Nepal, with some of the harder to find colours also being handmade in Germany, both from the highest quality New Zealand Wool. This is an eco friendly product that supports communities and cares for the earth using 100% natural and renewable wool.
Wool has great benefits; it’s eco-friendly, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Additionally, the pom poms are naturally water-repellant, stain-resistant and odour-resistant. They also have properties of temperature adjustment; cooler in summer and warm in winter so perfect for making your necklaces and accessories all year round
The pompom artisans are ISO 9001:2015 certified, Sedex audited and Goodweave certified and accredited to ensure that products not only meet the highest quality standards but also reflect their commitment to responsible sourcing, ethical practices, and sustainability.
Azo-free dyes are used to colour the balls. These felt balls do not use chemicals, fillers, solvents, bleach or petroleum.
